Vishal Deshmukh is a senior architect and has been an integral part of VK:a for more than a decade. He began his career as an architect at Edifice, umbai where he worked majorly on hospitality projects and IT campuses. In 2012, he joined VK: Architecture. During his role here, he has shown his proficiency as Principal Architect of various typologies of projects including affordable housing, high-rise apartments, IT hubs, townships, industrial clusters and public sector projects. Vishal joined VK:a as a senior architect , and has grown together to become a Jr. Partner in 2022. Over his practice, he has developed his aptitude for leading and coordinating several teams, managing and tracking large –scale project goals, and stablish policies, strategies, and operating objectives consistent with those of the client to ensure efficient and effective implementation of projects. His expertise in the work spectrum includes, but not limited to, master planning, development guidelines, urban design, heritage, etc.

With a keen interest in experimenting in design, he was instrumental in establishing the Design Cell under VK:a in 2015. It comprises of a few talented architects dedicated to working on competition projects and developing innovative proposals. The Design Cell team has participated in over 20 competitions and brought many accolades to VK:a. Their proposal for place-making in the Pune Smart City plan has also placed VK:a amongst the most noted architectural firms in the city. Vishal is also often invited for delivering lectures and has been appointed on jury panels at various educational institutes in and around Pune.
