4. Description : the project is designed on the concept of folds, drapes, floating fabric, and vivd colour keeping in mind to design an fashion institute. It is keep colourful and vibrant with timeless space sof concentration and passages. The institute is planned around interactive spaces, semi covered spaces, inclusive open spaces, making them low maintainace, soothing, informal and inspiring with creativity.The whole campus is bound together with feature wall which starts with the compound of the institute & continues inside a courtyard. Institutes function required linear form of building and the site conditions have evolved a definite and strong concept of master plan. All buildings are linear with a crink and to form a courtyard. It also gives a definite and binding character to all the buildings in the Campus. Efficiently used for Parking & plantations.Can provide service access wherever needed. Thickly wooded area in Northern part of the site many full-grown trees in Southern part. Flatter land portions identified as playgrounds. Internal courtyards & entrance plazas for each individual institute & school. Entrance plazas & internal courtyards form public realms. Passages connect those to each other creating harmony in the campus.
The brief was to create an New Vision School that will be landmark campus drawing national and international pride on an vast undulating slope at Ambegaon, Pune. An residential school and junior college was designed with all developmental infrastructure like sports complex, play grounds, interactive spaces, auditoriums etc that will make students love the campus. The open and extrovert design of this project aims at providing a stimulating, purposeful and secure environment to enable students to develop academically and socially in a healthy and cheerful environment. The plants were retained and added at different locations to help preserve the topography and vegetation to enhance the natural character of the site. Areas like the amphitheater were inserted in the existing topography with great ease. A blend of traditional and modern spaces was designed and care was taken to use environmentally responsive technologies and materials to reduce energy costs of future.
